Haven stories and art are reviewed by the Haven City Council, ie., the editorial staff, for several key qualities:

•  Is the Story well written? Yeah, you would think that this goes without saying, but you are paying for them, so they should be well written stories.
• Continuity- does the story fit in the universe? After quality, this is going to be the second most important factor, and this is where submitters will be betrayed if they are trying to fake their way in. Subscribe. Read the stories, seriously. If there are minor errors, the staff may ask the writer to make minor adjustments, and not reject the story outright. After all, nobody's perfect, right? 
• What's the schedule look like? While some might agree that there can never bee too much of a good thing, we always take into account how far out we have storiesscheduled.
• Is the story something we've done already? Obviously, we'd rather not see the same plot over and over, so don't be suprised if we tell you we like the story, but can't publish it for that reason.

Honestly, there can be no substitute for research, so consider subscribing and reading a few of the stories before submitting your own.
